Using job listings safely

On HerCircle, employers post jobs and you apply with your CV. Some listings link to other websites, and HerCircle's terms say it is not responsible for the content of linked sites. We couldn't find a statement that it checks employers, so do your own check on any listing.

  • Look the company up on its own website, and check the job is on its careers page.
  • Never pay to apply, for training, or for a "joining kit".
  • Keep Aadhaar, PAN and bank details until you have a written offer from a company you have checked.
  • Be careful if a recruiter moves you to WhatsApp or Telegram.

Your face scan and your data

HerCircle asks for a face check at sign-up to confirm you are a woman, and its privacy policy says it collects facial identifiers for this. The policy says in one place that the scan may be stored for revalidation, and in another that it is never stored. It also says data may be shared with affiliates for advertising, and that the current retention period is 10 years.

  1. Read the consent screen before the face check, and say no if you are not comfortable.
  2. You can withdraw your biometric consent by deleting your account in your profile settings.
  3. Share only what each feature needs, especially in health and finance trackers.

At HerWorkCircle only our team sees your details, and we never sell or share them.

Running a small business? Bizruptors and government schemes

Bizruptors is HerCircle's yearly programme for women entrepreneurs. HerCircle says the 2025 edition had more than 2,500 entries and 1,50,000 votes, and the 2026 edition more than 4,000 registrations, with visibility, recognition and networking for the women chosen. Check hercircle.in for the next edition's dates and rules.

Government schemes can help too, such as Mudra loans for starting or growing a small business without collateral. Our free schemes finder lists schemes for women, national and state by state, with official links, so you can see what you may qualify for.

Using both

  1. Use HerCircle for articles, community, health tracking and its free expert chat.
