Lado Lakshmi in 2026: what is true now

  • ₹2,100 a month, into your own bank account. It has been paid since 1 November 2025, and the 2026-27 budget keeps ₹6,500 crore for it.
  • Who can get it: women aged 23 or more, from families with income up to ₹1 lakh a year in Parivar Pehchan Patra records, where the woman (or her husband, if she married into Haryana) has lived in the state for 15 years.
  • The income limit may have gone up. The budget proposed ₹1.80 lakh, and news reports say a second phase began on 17 September 2026, but the department's page still showed ₹1 lakh on 10 October 2026. Check your family on the app.
  • A face check every month. After the first payment, you confirm your face on the app each month. If it fails two months in a row, payment stops.
  • Not with another pension. You can't get Lado Lakshmi with a widow, old age, disability or Ladli pension.

Apply only on the official Lado Lakshmi app, made by HARTRON. The department has warned that websites and forms claiming to register you are fake.

Jobs: registration and short courses

  1. Register on the HKRN portal (Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam). It lists contract jobs in government departments and runs short courses, including a 75-hour Job Ready course and foreign language training.
  2. Register on the employment exchange portal too, for vacancy updates.
  3. Check each job advert for a women's quota. We found no notified Haryana rule for a women's quota in government jobs, so read the advert for the post.

Bus travel is free for women in Haryana only around Raksha Bandhan: in 2026, from noon on 27 August to midnight on 28 August, on ordinary Haryana Roadways buses. We found no official page for an unemployment allowance or women's business loans that we could verify, so they are not listed.

The department page does not list the documents or the steps, so the document list here is the usual set and should be checked at the DSWO office. A woman who gets this pension cannot also get Lado Lakshmi; she should compare the two (₹3,200 here against ₹2,100 there) before choosing, and the notification says Lado Lakshmi beneficiaries move to the right pension automatically when they qualify.
